  • Improving Services: To record & review calls and wider correspondence for training and monitoring purposes, analysing user behavior to enhance our website and services.

In the unlikely event of our business closure or cessation, our main priority is to fulfill our duty of care obligations to you by ensuring access to ongoing optical care. We will make every effort to transfer your records to another optical provider chosen by us. In such a scenario, we will communicate this process to you, offering detailed information on how you can request the transfer of your records to an alternative provider of your choice.

Under the the GOC guidelines:

  • Adults: 10 years, even if the patient has subsequently died
  • Children and young people: 10 years after they were last seen or until the patient’s 25th birthday if later. If the child or young person has died, keep the records for 10 years after they were last seen
